Travelers Can Now Filter Their Water Worldwide

As a teenager, each year a group of us would take a trip to the Sierra Nevada mountain range for a week-long hike through the 10,000 to 14,000 foot high peaks. For drinking water, all we used was a small amount of iodine added to a water bottle to kill anything that might have been living in the mountain streams.

With a little research, I’ve discovered that today’s hikers – as well as today’s travelers – have a complete selection of systems to deliver clean water without having to add a bad tasting chemical that has the potential to kill you in and of itself.

European Medical Tourism Conference

We just returned from a trip to Italy to attend the European Medical Tourism Conference just outside of Venice.  For Seven Corners, the conference was an opportunity to review the medical tourism industry as well as a chance to meet with hospitals and medical groups from throughout the world.  Our days were filled with meetings with hospital representatives from Spain, Turkey, Germany, and of course, Italy.

I quickly noticed that these international hospitals are aware of the Seven Corners name and appreciate our knowledge of international healthcare.  Our goal when meeting hospital representatives is to evaluate the people behind the facilities who will eventually treat our insureds and members should they need care while away from
